Tiedepuisto lifts work without an access badge. The only exception to this is the 2D wing lift, which only works with the access badge. In this case, the holder of the access badge only has access to the floors for which their access rights have been specified. Present the badge to the reader inside the lift, and then press the button for the appropriate floor. No badge is required to get from the upper floors to the first floor.
