Parking and bicycle parking
Car, bicycle or motorcycle? Regardless of the vehicle you use to get to work, there’s a safe place to keep it right near Science Park during your work day. Also check if you could take the bus to work!
Park your car in the parking garage or along Länsikatu street
The easiest way to park is to use the parking garage at Hallitie 2. The garage has room for 500 cars, with spaces for both short and long-term parking. In addition to the parking garage, there are a limited number of two-hour parking disc spaces along Länsikatu street right in front of Science Park.
Parking cars in yard areas
Parking in the courtyards is prohibited. Parking is only permitted with an official Science Park service parking permit. A parking permit for service traffic and service parking is available from Lobby Services.
Electric car charging point
There is a charging point for two electric cars at the end of Building 1 in Science Park. The charging point is subject to a fee and available to all our customers.
Bicycle parking
Bicycles in yard areas must be stored in the bicycle racks reserved for them. Shelters intended for bicycles can be found in the courtyard and next to the Louhi restaurant terrace located in Building 1.
All bicycles abandoned in the racks for long periods will be removed at the beginning of June. We will inform our customers of this, so they can ask about the bicycles at Lobby Services.
Motorcycle parking
Motorcycle parking spaces can be found in the area between the Science Park courtyard and Buildings 2, 3B and 4A. Ask Lobby Services for more detailed instructions!
Taking the bus to work
Do you know how close you could get to Science Park by bus? Routes 5 and 103 run past our premises regularly. More information about buses is available from Joensuu Region Public Transport (JOJO) and the Joensuu Route Guide
